Hi! I’m Lida.

and I wasn’t always fearless…

I’m a queer, non-binary, neurodivergent immigrant and third culture kid. I know what it is like to feel strange, uncomfortable, different, and possibly…yikes…unlovable? Time and time again, because of who I am, I was made to believe that my experience does not matter. I looked for understanding and empathy from others and repeatedly just couldn’t see myself reflected in the world around me. It took me a long and windy road to get to a place where I found secure attachment and safety within myself and no longer look to others for validation but love and joy. Also, LOTS of therapy, coaching and inner work. Now, I want to share that knowledge with others to help them feel less alone.

With a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Technical Theater and a master's in social work, my journey spans from the creative, performance-driven world of arts and entertainment to the relational, trauma-informed space of therapy and coaching. As a former actor, dancer, and freelance professional, I bring unique insight into navigating the complexities of pursuing your passions in a fast-paced, often overwhelming capitalist system because I’ve put in the elbow grease, myself.

As a social worker, I deeply value inclusivity, openness, authenticity, and am committed to providing care and support for people who have historically been excluded by systems of oppression. I tailor my approach for your unique, often intersectional, positionality and circumstances. Our work together will be led by curiosity for your burgeoning identity. We can play with ideas, look from every angle, to see a path forward where there may have previously been a block. Shifting your understanding of yourself will change the way you move through the world and alter your relationships, often for the better.
